For Long Islanders snow could be a blessing or a disaster.  Snow fall is always welcomed during the holiday season while the family is gathered around a crisp burning fire.  Sitting by the window, sipping a mug of hot chocolate, to watch the snowflakes gently fall, is breath-taking and beautiful.  However, throughout the rest of the winter months snow becomes more of a nuisance and disruption in our everyday lives.

Working mothers cringe to the phone ringing at 6am to a school recording declaring delays or cancellations, while children cheer to the sound of “snow day.”  While parents feel the aggravation in the thought of having to shovel their way to work, their children beg to pull out the sleds and make a snowman.  As parents stand in the cold with shovel in hand, both freezing and sweating, they dream of an easier way to clear the driveway.

These thoughts became a reality for Kevin Murray through his invention of the Blizzard Blade Snow Mover.  Kevin, a local Long Islander, explained that approximately 20 years ago he broke his shovel while clearing the driveway. He picked up a piece of plywood and used it to clear the driveway in minutes.  Based on his experience, he designed the Blizzard Blade Snow Mover, the new way to shovel a driveway that saves you time and back ache.  You will be inclined to toss the old tired shovel stored in the garage after using the Blizzard Blade for the very first time.

By using your own body weight, you can easily push the snow out of the way.  The Blizzard Blade Snow Mover is available in two sizes to further fit your specific needs.  For more information, to receive a free demonstration or to purchase the Blizzard Blade Snow Mover, visit the website www.BigBlade.com or email Kevin directly at kevjmurray@optonline.net.
